There is one true God. He is Good. He is all powerful and able to accomplish anything He pleases. He knows what He’s doing. God loves you! At the CORE of His own essence is Love. All of what He is like or does is based out of His Love. God is Love!
1 John 4:16
God created us in His own image as expressions of His Love and Life and Goodness and Glory. Even though we turned against Him, God never wrote us off. He continued to Love us and offer us all a way to be restored to His Life.

In an extravagant display of Love, God Himself came to planet Earth as the man Jesus to rescue us from the death our rebellion brought… Yes, God came as the man Jesus to make a way for us to have Life again.
John 1:14
Jesus lived the very Life of God perfectly here, showing us the essence of what God is like. Ultimately Jesus sacrificed His own life as payment for our sin so we could be forgiven for turning against God and restored to His Life.
Hebrews 1:1-3 and 2:9-18
Jesus not only died for us, but also defeated all evil. He overcame death itself. Jesus rose from the grave after three days in a tomb. He was seen by hundreds of witnesses for forty days after His resurrection before ascending back into Heaven. He is in Heaven now, and He will return when the time is right to restore all creation to its glory!

As for us now, Jesus has left us with a simple offer… By faith give Him your frail broken life and in return He will give you His Indestructible Eternal Life. By God’s Grace, that’s the offer… Life!
Matthew 16:25
God’s offer is to everyone, but it is just that, an offer. Because God is Love, and Love must be chosen in order to truly be love, He has left us all with the choice. We can accept His offer of Life with Him or continue on our own way.
2 Peter 3:9, Deuteronomy 30:19
For those who accept the offer, Jesus has sent His own Spirit to live inside them. Indeed anyone who will admit their hopelessness to save themselves and turn to Jesus for forgiveness and Life will be saved. Yes… Jesus gave His Life for us, so He could offer His Life to us, so that He might live His Life through us… Even as us.
Romans 8:9-11 Galatians 2:20
So this is the CORE Life… Jesus Life in us, restoring us to live as walking talking living breathing expressions of our Creator’s Glory and to bring His Kingdom into our world! Our part is to simply surrender to Him, asking for His lead and following as He speaks. And as we follow, we can rest in the assurance that He Loves us, He is Good, He Knows what He’s doing and He’s Able to bring about all the good He intends.

Now as we walk with God, surrendered to Him, His leading will come by His Spirit. It will come through His Word, through His people, through the circumstances He allows into our lives and through our going to Him in prayer listening for His lead. God still speaks to us to lead us into the Life He has for us!
