Charles Welch is the founder of CORE Life, a discipleship ministry which focuses on bringing all into the realization of their fullest life possible as followers of Jesus Christ. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Charles has a passion for helping people take hold of the Life God has created us all to live. It’s a passion that comes from his own journey and struggles growing into maturity. It’s a passion fueled by the faithfulness of the Father to see him through. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Charles’ training in discipleship includes much in the way of formal education and experience. He graduated Summa Cum Laude earning a Masters degree in Education from Georgia Southern University in 1989. Charles went on to teach and coach men’s basketball for over 25 years. Always with a heart toward developing people for God’s Kingdom, Charles earned his Certification as a Professional Christian Life Coach from Erickson College in 2014 and his Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling from Luther Rice College and Seminary in 2017. Charles’ experience includes leading and facilitating small groups, individual discipleship coaching, marriage coaching, leading retreats and helping the leadership at his own church develop a strategic plan for men’s ministry. All this, for this moment in time… To bring CORE Life!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Charles is married to his high school sweetheart Julie. They have loved each other well for over 40 years. Their love, with God’s blessing, produced 2 children, Rebecca and Matthew whom they are most thankful for. Charles’ interests include almost anything outdoors, but especially fishing and biking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
